Programs on a Page

Welcome to Programs on A Page or Two, Known as POPs.

One of President Mickey Edell’s goals is to help branches FOCUS on the new mission statement and the new program theme. AAUW of MI has created two projects to assist branches to focus on the new mission and program theme.

Last year, each branch received a disk with mission related project outlines. We hope the disk has been helpful in planning your mission related projects. We encourage you to use it as you plan for next year, too.

This year, we are providing you with mini mission-related Programs on a Page or Two that you can include in your already planned programs.  We will refer to them as POPs.

Here’s how it works.  AAUW of MI provides the material.  Branch members provide the creativity to incorporate the mini program into your planned program.  You might consider a “Did You Know” few minutes.  You might create a brief quiz with a bit of a prize for the most correct answers.  You might create a “Mission Column in your newsletter.  You might create a Reader’s Theater.

AAUW of MI’s new slogan is AA_W Keeping U Involved. I think a good idea is to give the mini program to a branch member asking her to dream up how she will share it with the branch.
