2011 - 2012 MIDLAND BRANCH PROGRAM
The branch holds General meetings that are open to the public.
- September 21 – 7:00 p.m. at Whiting Forrest, 2303 Eastman Avenue, Program: The Co-Presidents will kick off the classic fall season with some hot topics they brought back from the June Convention.They will also spotlight a branch member and introduce our branch's 2011 NCCWSL winner. Our speaker, Mayor Maureen Donker, will discuss running for office and update us on recent city projects.
- November 17, Women's Issue Luncheon, Program: Epidemic: Responding to America's Prescription Drug Abuse Crisis.
- December 8, 7:00 p.m. at Whiting Forrest, 2303 Eastman Avenue, Program: Tis the Season -- of Giving Holiday Party.
- January 11, 10:30 a.m. at the Grace A. Dow Library Lounge, Program: "Refusing to be Enemies" is a film documenting the story of 6 Jewish and 6 Arab women who lived in the Ann Arbor area and came together through dialog to break the deadlock of fear and hatred."
- February 16, Women's Issue Luncheon, Program: Dawn Baker from the Dow Chemical Company will speak on what it means to be a courageous leader.
- March 15, 6:30 p.m. Whiting Forrest, 2303 Eastman Avenue, Program: Annual Meeting Salad and Dessert Dinner
