Year Established 1974

Number of Members

We are the only active branch in Macomb County, and welcome new members from southern Lapeer County as well.

Our group shares used book sales throughout the year with the Friends of the Romeo District Library. The BIG sale is over Labor Day weekend during the Romeo Peach Festival.

We offer two scholarships annually to graduating Romeo High School students, and one to a graduate of the local alternative high school. We host a televised school board candidate forum on the local cable channel when there is a contested election. The local school district libraries benefit from annual donations of books. The branch also participates in the Sharing Tree program in the community during the holiday season.
