In October they held a profitable Book Sale.  They downloaded Helen Milliken’s speech from last year’s Spring Convention and used it in a program.  Each year they hold a luncheon that honors a woman in the community, along with a silent auction as a fundraiser.  This year the woman was a pediatrician who was a pioneer in her field.  Ending the year, they host a tea in May for graduating high school seniors and their mothers with a speaker.  They give two scholarships to high school graduates and two scholarships to women returning to school.
